Warm up with cardiac/aerobics for at least 15 minutes (more is good too), then do weights using as much weight as you can possibly bare for no more than 8 or 10 reps. If you go to a gym where there are weight machines, it would be very helpful to develop a routine. Don’t work out without fuel in your body – the more energy you have the better you will work-out..
